Bill Te Winkle leads the firm’s litigation and employment law practice. He has been with Rohde Dales since 1979, becoming a partner of the firm in 1982. Bill has wide-ranging trial experience in Sheboygan and surrounding counties, state and federal courts, and administrative forums such as the EEOC. Bill’s practice includes an array of personal injury matters, including wrongful death claims. He also has a substantial litigation practice in insurance disputes, contract and commercial law disputes, including employment and non-compete agreements, corporate and contract matters and related business claims.

Bill rounds out his law practice by serving as an advisor and counselor to the officers and boards of directors for a number of family-owned businesses and their owners. This has provided a valued balance to his litigation-related activities and has created client relationships which are mutually rewarding. The work generated in this “general counsel” capacity allows him to interact regularly with the firm’s other teams. Bill also serves the firm as its Managing Partner.

Bill enjoys work outside of the office for his church, non-profit entities and as a varsity basketball coach. Bill strives endlessly to find the golf swing that will produce lower scores, but enjoys a good walk around a beautiful course even when his swing is nowhere to be found.
